   So I was walking around kicking a tin can around because I'm so torn about the movie, and I realized that the only material that's still canon in the Star Trek Universe is Star Trek: Enterprise.

   I think all of the previous stuff is still canon. We just have a new offshoot that we have to deal with now.

   The meek shall inherit the Earth. The rest of us are getting the hell off this rock!

   So, we're going with "Star Trek Prime" for the 'real' universe, what do we call everything that happens during/after this most recent movie? "Star Trek - Red Matter" universe?
