I'm sure everyone that would be at this site has seen the trailer already, what do you think of it?
I'm pretty sure it'll be good, but the bridge of the new Enterprise looks like it was designed by Apple :(

LOL, It does, doesn't it. It looks like it could be a good one. I'm a tad concerned about the Kirk character, but the rest look good.
Oh WOW, can you get the forums at M[c]S look like this? This is waaaaaaay better and easier to read.
I Might be able to, let's move this discussion over to the mcs suggestions page though ;)
About the preview for this movie: I'm super fucking excited. I might not be a huge trekkie, but I've always enjoyed the shows. Especially DS9. Auspecially Odo. I fucking loved Odo. And haha Warf.
The previews for this movie look absolutely incredible. Yes, I am stoked. Stoked as a stoked pipe.
I'm ready. I've watched I think just about all the trailers, including some of the foreign trailers.
I'm probably still more excited about Windows 7 coming out, but I guess that's a different excitement.
hah, well with star trek, you're not really interacting with anything. With windows, that's your interface to the internets, which is very important!
Cant wait...the trailers have been great, Syla i mean Spock is great and well...actually is Sylar with pointy ears....but i can forgive that. The ship im still unsure about...I really like bits of it. Im sure ill be swayed when i see it in full tho. Then ill want a model of it.
The thing that got me frothing the most was that clip of McCoy on the shuttle...Urban has got that character nailed.
just as long as there's no cutting off of the tops of heads so spock can eat their delicous brains...
That was a TOS episode.
Wait, what?
dammit, it kinda was an episode. nothing as gross as what's been happening on Heroes though
wut?
Ah, Heroes. I've managed to escape the clutches of that show. House, NCIS, Bones (no more CSI thank you), I get plenty of that. Of course, it might help to get rid of the kids so that I actually have control of the TV, and having a Tivo would probably help in that matter as well.
I'll bet ;)
I've enjoyed Heroes, but it's been real spotty on the quality of the episodes. Some are great, and others just...meh.
It'd be real nice if they were able to get the plot together for more then 2 episodes in a row too, lol.
I stopped watching Heroes about 1/2 way through the 2nd season. I just thought it was getting ridiculous. I was recording them on DVR and by the time I'd get around to watching the episode I'd be confused because I couldn't remember every little ridiculous detail from every preceding episode.
you might be happier if you never pick heroes up again then ;)
