Ive just got back into reading trek books in the last few months and I have to say that the quality is so much better than those early Next gen novels i used to read.

Has anyone else been reading the on going series ? I like how it covers Enterprise, Voyager Titan and Aventine and the story line seems to be going in a very interesting direction. Im just reading them too damn fast and im gonna run out soon....so think i may have to read the ones before the Destiny.

Currently reading Full Circle ...the voyager one...

oh, it's ok, ::pat pat:: I moved it for you!

You're talking about these, right? http://www.startrekbookclub.com/category/crossovers/destiny/

I haven't been able to read those yet, I wasn't aware it was an ongoing series. Is it a crossover or are they self contained stories?

    Yeah those are the ones.

It kind of starts with the book before "Greater than the Sum"

Without spoiling anything....its a huge story arc. Seen from the perspective of the three ships...Enterprise, Aventine and Titan and the role each plays in the what is absolutely the federations darkest hour. And when you read one bit...youll s**t bricks when you realize what you are experiencing.

They also line a brand new threat for the now ailing federation which could be really good.

This is where all the new books are following on from. "A Singular Destiny", "Over a Torrent Sea", "Full Circle" and the up coming "Losing the Peace"

These books got me back into trek in a big way

that sounds distrubingly like the premise for the vaguard series, only it's in a singular time frame. some brand new amazing galactic threat has the various factions in the federation, klingon empire and the tholian empire all up in a tizzy.

Is this part of the ds9 season 8 stuff?

aw, that's a shame, I've been a big fan of the ds9 series, I think it's my most favorite of them all :)

Since I already talked about it in a different thread (sorry I missed this one...)

Well, I've read the trilogy, A Singular Destiny, and Over a Torrent Sea, which I thought was just a continuation of the Titan story, not really related to the Destiny series.

I'm about a 1/3 through "Lost Souls". Really getting into this series. But where (in what book)does Janeway turn Borg? Picard and the Doc get married? I'm gonna have to go back and catch those. These are the first Star Trek books I've read. I always like TNG the best Voyager and DS9 good too. Never liked TOS much and never watched Enterprise yet. What books does anyone suggest I go back (or forward) and read?

I have to say, I haven't a clue. It was surprising to me when I read those as well.
