Was there a serious pull for this series to have books made of them?

Why did they even bother?

I enjoyed the series, but I had absolutely no desire to read any of the books.

meh. I gave it the benefit of the doubt until they traveled through time to find aliens as nazis. then I just gave up. I hate time travel with a passion, which I guess doesn't really bode well for the next star trek movie, ugh. damn I hate time travel. and I hate nazi time traveling aliens too.
it was a major turn off when they did that and I couldn't' take the series seriously after that and just quit watching. Sadly, from what I hear, it got good after they finished that one horrid storyline up.

They finished it up in two episodes (IIRC), which I think was in response to how badly they were getting beat up about it. I can deal with the time travel, but one would think with that early exposure to it, they'd be dealing better with it, at least by TNG.

and now sadly, Enterprise is the only Star Trek series that's still in canon. yay series reboots.

I liked Enterprise and have read The Good That Men Do, Kobiyashi Maru, and the Romulan war. The Good that men Do = was great, Kobiayshi = not as good and the romulan war was OK. I think I may do a reread on these due to having read several books in between the releases.

I'll be honest, I haven't given the ENT books much of a chance. you're saying that they're pretty good?
